Easy Peanut Butter-Chocolate Energy Bites

Easy Peanut Butter-Chocolate Energy Bites

Easy Peanut Butter-Chocolate Energy Bites are a great snack to keep you powered through your day! The peanut butter and chocolate make a sweet and salty combo that makes for a satisfying treat! These are the perfect things to grab when youโ€™re on the go!

I love these Energy Bites! They are a delicious snack when Iโ€™m craving something sweet! They also give me a boost when Iโ€™m starting to crash in the day. The protein from the peanut butter, and fiber from the oatmeal, keep you feeling full. I add honey for some natural sweetness and additional health benefits.

Raw Honey Benefits

Raw Honey contains surprising health benefits. Such as, high in antioxidants, kills unwanted bacteria, helps in healing wounds, and can treat digestive issues. It is also helpful for treating sore throats, especially when combined with Chamomile Tea!

I believe it is one of the best sweeteners to use if youโ€™re trying to change your health habits. Hereโ€™s a great article about Raw honey benefits if youโ€™re interested in learning more!

Where to Buy Raw Honey

If youโ€™re not sure where to find raw honey, I usually buy from Amazon! One of my other favorite kinds is Amazon Happy Belly Brand. Itโ€™s a great product and easy to buy since you donโ€™t have to go to the store and itโ€™s a good price too!

Energy Bites Ingredients

For this recipe, I prefer using quick oats and not rolled oats because the balls hold together better, and theyโ€™re easier to roll. I also like to add a touch of molasses along with the honey because it adds a rich flavor. Although, you can leave out the molasses if you want and add the same amount of honey.

The optional add-ins are the crushed peanuts and chia seeds. Although, I recommend adding them because the peanuts add a nice crunch and deeper peanut flavor. But I mainly add in the chia seeds for the extra health benefits.

Ingredients Substitutions

For those that donโ€™t like natural peanut butter, you can use regular peanut butter. You may have to add a touch more honey to make up for the firmer texture of plain peanut butter.

If you have a gluten allergy, you can easily make these gluten-free by using gluten-free oats. Also, for a dairy-free version, I always recommend Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips.

Snacks for Work and On-The-Go

These No-Bake Energy Bites have been such a great snack to send with my husband to work. Iโ€™m constantly making him my healthy muffins and these too because they are excellent on-the-go snacks.

I love packing healthy snacks for my husband and having them around my kitchen. Itโ€™s always easier to stay healthy and keep up with nutrition levels when you have better choices around the house. Especially after an intense workout, itโ€™s important to get in your carbs, fats, and protein!

I hope you will love these Easy Peanut Butter-Chocolate Energy Bites as much as my husband does!
